Puebla is a beautiful and popular state. There is a lot of history there, including the Cortez's macre in Cholula and the Cinco de Mayo battle against the French. It is considered by many to be the food capital of Mexico. There are famous volcanoes. Also, Cholula is one of the longest continually occupied towns in the world.
