WILL A SKI POLE FLIP MY BOAT?

Hey guys i hav a 15ft pride cheetah with a small ski pole at the back (500mm tall from floor) and want to extend it to pull a wakeboarder higher... i want it to be 1.8 meters tall, i plan to support it to the front of the boat etc but am wondering if it will potentially flip my boat backward... it isnt a mid mount pole... its at the rear of the boat... hope u guys can help, cheers
