Can you use the Ugg Waterproofing Spray on Suede Boots?

I just bought really cute suede boots and refuse to wear them before they're protected so I don't ruin them. I have Ugg Waterproofing spray that I purchased recently and was wondering if that would be safe to use on suede since Uggs are sheepskin leather. Thanks!
