I can't access my link sys Router’s Web-Based Setup Page?

I have already tried to follow the directions on the Link Sys web site, but it is not working. I did http://192.168.1.1 and hit enter and put in admin, but it says I don't have access. I checked my IP address and it it is 192.168.1.100 so I tried that number and the box to enter "admin" into did not come up. If some one can help me I am trying to find out my p phrase or security key.
