What do you think of the Westboro Baptist "Church" and their protests?

The Westboro Baptist Church is a hate group from Topeka Kansas and one of 500 hate groups monitored by the Southern Poverty Law Center. They have no affiliation with ANY Baptist organization in this country or any other. They protest at the funerals of American soldiers and, whether they are gay or straight, hold up various signs proclaiming they are "fags". They say this because they feel the soldiers' death is punishment for the American government and its tolerance of ity. My original question was deleted by Yahoo! Administrators with no reason, so I'm submitting it again.
